2024 first rhino poaching reported from Assam

The body of an adult female rhino with a missing horn was discovered in Kaziranga National Park on Monday, marking the first rhino poaching occurrence of 2024 according to Assam.

While on patrol in the eastern Agoratoli Range of Kaziranga, the forest personnel of the Maklung anti-poaching camp found the carcass, according to reports.
