34 Injured in Bus Accident in Assam’s Hailakandi District

At least 34 passengers were injured when their bus met with an accident in Assam’s Hailakandi district on Wednesday. The bus, with registration number AS24 C 5399, was traveling from Ramkrishna Nagar in Karimganj to Hailakandi when it lost control and hit a roadside tree in the Aynakhal area.

The injured passengers were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. Sixteen of them, in critical condition, were referred to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) for advanced treatment.
