Hospitalised student due to horrifying ragging case in Meghalaya
Following allegations of ragging and mistreatment by a group of at least five older students, a tenth-grade student from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Williamnagar, East Garo Hills, was admitted to the hospital.
Local residents are outraged by the incident and are demanding the harshest penalties for those who physically abused a Class X student, forcing him into the hospital. The injured student was later taken by ambulance to Tura Civil Hospital, where reports indicate that his health is getting better.
