Meghalaya Police Seize Drugs Worth Over ₹ 8 Crore

According to police, a man from Mizoram was detained in Meghalaya’s East Jaintia Hills district after being caught with over 8.26 crore worth of illegal crystal meth.

Police officers stopped a car after receiving a tip, and when they searched it, they allegedly discovered 10 packets of crystal meth in a suitcase.

A senior district police officer reported that the man was then detained and that a further inquiry under way.
