Raha doctor arrested on charges of molestation and rape attempt

Police arrested Prasanta Das, Community Health Officer of Jukuta Health and Wellness Centre under Barapujia Block Public Health Centre, Raha, on Thursday evening from his residence.

According to reports, the health officer was arrested on rape charges after being accused by a four-month pregnant patient who claimed the doctor molested and attempted to rape her while she was at the health centre for a medical check-up.
