Assam Police rescued 36 cattle from smugglers

During an operation near the city of Digaru, a police team was able to rescue 36 cattle heads from cattle smugglers.

A team from the Sonapur Police Station in the East Guwahati Police District conducted the operation. This operation resulted in the capture of a truck with the registration number AS 01 GC 9844 and 36 live cattle on board. During the operation, the police team also arrested three miscreants, including the driver, and legal action was taken against them. According to reports, the cattle were being transported to Meghalaya.
