Public Holiday Declared in Biswanath District for Lok Sabha Election

The Biswanath district administration has announced a public holiday on April 19, 2024, in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections in the No. 11 Sonitpur constituency. The District Commissioner, Dr. Neha Yadav, issued an order stating that all government and non-government offices, educational institutions, banks, tea gardens, and industries will remain closed on this day. Financial institutions are also mandated to shut down as per the order under the NI Act.
