Dumper Driver Electrocuted to Death During Illegal Mining in Assam

Abdul Rafik, a driver involved in illegal mining activities, was electrocuted to death early Friday morning in Chalchali – Jalah near Barhampur, Assam. The incident occurred when his dumper, registered as AS02CC 7834, contacted a high voltage power line while transporting earth.

Locals have called for a high-level probe into the incident and urged local authorities to take legal action to halt illegal mining and earth transport in the area.
