New Dialysis Centre Inaugurated in Cachar for CKD Patients

A new dialysis centre under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme (PMNDP) was inaugurated at MG Model Hospital, Katigorah, Cachar district, on Monday. MLA Kamalakhaya Dey Purkayastha, District Commissioner Mridul Yadav, and Dr. Ashutosh Barman attended the ceremony, highlighting the importance of accessible healthcare. The new facility aims to provide free dialysis services, easing the financial burden on families and supporting Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients in rural areas.
