Schoolgirl Kidnapped, Rescued by Paltan Bazar Police

A Nicholes Higher Secondary School student was kidnapped from Manipur Basti, Paltan Bazar, after being lured out by a known youth. The abductors allegedly drugged her before taking her to Borpathar, Golaghat. Paltan Bazar Police rescued the girl and arrested one kidnapper, while three others escaped. A manhunt is ongoing to nab the remaining suspects.
