ULFA(I) Leader Rupam Asom Arrested in Tinsukia

ULFA(I) leader Rupam Asom was arrested in Tinsukia during a joint operation by Assam and Arunachal Police. He was involved in extortion along the Assam-Arunachal border and named in the 2018 murder of OC Bhaskar Kalita. Arms were recovered from him. The operation is ongoing to nab other gang members.
