AIUDF Urges Extradition Treaty with Bangladesh for Humane Deportation

AIUDF urged the Centre to sign an extradition treaty with Bangladesh for fair deportation of illegal immigrants. MLA Aminul Islam submitted a memorandum to the Governor, criticizing the current “pushback” policy. He alleged some deportees were left in “No Man’s Land” and called for legal due process or work permits. Islam also accused the government of spreading fear among Muslims and diverting attention from key issues.
