Lost Elephant Calf Reunited with Mother in Kaziranga

An elephant calf separated from its herd in Kaziranga National Park was reunited with its mother on Saturday. Alerted by villagers in Borjuri Basti, forest officials and the CWRC rescue team located the calf near a tea garden. After confirming its good health, the team brought it to the Veroni corridor, where the mother elephant responded to its calls. The reunion was successful, with the mother and herd safely guiding the calf back into the park.
