IMD Issues Red Alert for Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal

The IMD has issued a red alert for Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh, warning of extremely heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours. Districts like Dhubri, Goalpara, and Kokrajhar may face intense showers. The ASDMA has urged caution, especially in low-lying and landslide-prone areas. Guwahati is also expected to see thunderstorms and strong winds up to 50 kmph.
