Ruckus at Zubeen Garg’s Cremation Site, Six Arrested

Six intoxicated individuals disrupted the sanctity of Zubeen Garg’s memorial at Hatimura Hills, Sonapur, on Friday night. Police said five men and one woman interfered with boundary wall construction, threatened workers, and disturbed the peaceful environment. All six have been remanded to judicial custody.

The incident outraged locals, who have been maintaining cleanliness and order at the site. Residents urged stricter police vigil along NH-27 and demanded tougher checks on drinking and driving to protect the memorial’s sanctity.
