Gaurav Gogoi Demands Release of SIT Report, Challenges CM Sarma

Assam Congress president Gaurav Gogoi challenged Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to publicly release the SIT report regarding allegations of his “Pakistan links.” Gogoi said Sarma failed to reveal details by his promised deadline and accused him of political theatrics. He also criticised the government’s performance in Karbi Anglong and industrial sectors, claiming development has stalled while a few benefit. Gogoi asserted that the Congress will continue its fight and predicted the BJP government will be unseated in 2026.
