Guwahati Ferry Services Suspended Ahead of PM’s Visit

All Guwahati-based ferry services will remain suspended from December 20, 2025, until 12 noon on December 21, 2025, due to security arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit, the Inland Water Transport Department said on Thursday.

The suspension coincides with the Prime Minister’s two-day Assam visit, during which he will inaugurate the new terminal at Guwahati airport on December 20 and attend a foundation stone ceremony and public rally in Namrup on December 21.
