Biswanath Administration Orders Two Declared Foreigners to Leave Assam Within 24 Hours

The Biswanath district administration has directed two women declared foreigners by the Foreigners’ Tribunal to leave Assam within 24 hours of receiving the order. The women were identified as Bangladeshi nationals in separate cases.
District Commissioner Lakhinandan Saharia issued expulsion orders under the Immigrants (Expulsion from Assam) Act, 1950, instructing them to exit India through designated routes. The administration warned of forcible removal if the directive is not followed.
