CBSE Allows One-Time Window to Complete Incomplete CTET Applications

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has granted a one-time relaxation to candidates who failed to complete their online applications for the 21st Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), scheduled for February 2026.
CBSE said over 25.3 lakh candidates successfully applied, while 1.61 lakh registrations remained incomplete. Considering the exam is being held after nearly a year, the Board has reopened the application portal until December 30, 2025, only for such candidates to complete submission and make corrections. No fresh registrations or further extensions will be allowed.
