Pension Papers Handed Over to 17 Retiring Teachers in Kamrup Metro

Pension-related documents were handed over on Friday to 17 secondary school teachers and staff of Kamrup Metropolitan district retiring on February 28, 2026. The distribution was done by Inspector of Schools Dipika Choudhury at the district office auditorium.

Choudhury said the district has ensured timely pension document delivery since November 2023. She urged retiring teachers to stay connected with education through the Vidyanjali scheme. Association advisor Govinda Chandra Kalita praised the initiative and called for its uniform implementation across Assam.
