Conrad Sangma Condemns Assault on Northeast Individuals in Delhi

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma condemned the alleged assault on a woman from Manipur and a transgender person from Assam in Delhi, calling the incident disturbing and unacceptable. The attack reportedly occurred in a park near Saket Court after a group of youths allegedly made racially derogatory remarks and later assaulted the victims.

The injured woman was taken to Safdarjung Hospital for treatment. Delhi Police have launched an investigation and assured strict action against those involved. Sangma urged authorities to act firmly against racial attacks on people from the Northeast.
