CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Launches 100+ Development Projects in Karbi Anglong

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday launched and inaugurated over 100 development projects in Karbi Anglong, worth around ₹16 crore. Key projects include the Diphu Cancer Care Centre, Kharsing Terang–Injarkap Flyover, Government Model Degree College, Diphu Town Lake, and Bilamvek Water Sports Complex.

The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for major initiatives such as a Sainik School at Longbhoku, a 42 MW solar power project, and an Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management in Diphu, along with several road and bridge projects.

In Jorhat, Sarma will inaugurate the Maniram Dewan–Piyali Barua Flyover and other infrastructure and cultural projects to boost connectivity and development.
