Assam Signs Investment Agreements Worth ₹1.67 Lakh Crore with 69 Companies

The Assam government signed ‘Confirmation of Investment’ agreements with 69 companies worth ₹1.67 lakh crore, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced. The investments are expected to create around one lakh direct and indirect jobs in the state.

Major companies involved include Adani Defence & Aerospace, Numaligarh Refinery Ltd, Oil India Ltd, and ONGC. The Chief Minister said these investments will boost industrial growth and economic development in Assam.
