Congress to Release Second List of Assam Poll Candidates Today

The Indian National Congress is set to release its second list of candidates for the Assam Assembly elections today, APCC president Gaurav Gogoi said after a meeting in New Delhi chaired by party chief Mallikarjun Kharge. The meeting was attended by senior leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Gogoi stated that about 95% of the candidate list has been finalised and added that the alliance with Raijor Dal has only been paused, not cancelled.
