Telecom Equipment Worth Rs 3 Crore Stolen from BSNL Warehouse in Guwahati

A major theft was reported at a warehouse of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in Guwahati’s Adabari area, where unidentified miscreants allegedly stole telecom equipment worth nearly Rs 3 crore.

Police said the accused broke into the warehouse, stole antennas, fibre cables and other telecom components, and replaced the locks before fleeing. The incident has reportedly affected network installation services in parts of Assam, and an investigation is underway.
