Assam CEO Reviews Vote Counting Preparations in Morigaon and Jorhat

Ahead of the May 4 Assembly election vote counting, Assam Chief Electoral Officer Anurag Goel on Tuesday reviewed counting preparations in Morigaon and Jorhat districts.

Goel inspected counting centres, strong rooms, and security arrangements at Morigaon College and directed officials to follow all Election Commission guidelines strictly.

The district administration has also begun training counting personnel for smooth conduct of the process. Vote counting will start at 8 am on May 4 with separate halls arranged for Jagiroad, Laharighat, and Morigaon constituencies.
