Court Freezes Accounts in Zubeen Garg Death Case

The Fast Track Court hearing the death case of Assamese cultural icon Zubeen Garg has ordered the freezing of several bank accounts allegedly linked to associates of Siddharth Sharma, the singer’s former manager who is currently in judicial custody.

The court also directed the seizure of Mahabir Aqua, a business reportedly connected to Sharma. The move is seen as a major step in examining financial links and transactions related to the case.

While Singapore Police earlier termed the incident an accidental drowning, Assam authorities said the SIT investigation and court proceedings will continue independently based on available evidence.
