Minor Domestic Worker Rescued in Guwahati, One Arrested

Bhangagarh Police rescued a minor allegedly employed as a domestic worker at the residence of a private hospital director in Guwahati.

Police registered a case after receiving a complaint from the child’s family and arrested Gouri Rajbongshi from Biswanath district for allegedly supplying the minor for domestic work. Meanwhile, Ranjan Kumar Deka, at whose residence the child was rescued, is absconding and police have launched a search operation.
