BJP Dismisses EVM Claims, Confident of Big Win in Assam

Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia rejected allegations of EVM tampering and strongroom security concerns, calling them a sign of the opposition’s “acceptance of defeat.”

He questioned the opposition’s claims of forming the government and accused them of spreading “fake narratives.” Saikia expressed confidence that the BJP-led NDA will secure close to 100 seats, citing internal assessments and voter support.

Referring to past election performances, he said the party remains optimistic due to strong governance under Narendra Modi and the state leadership.
