Kaziranga Records Highest-Ever Foreign Tourist Footfall in 2025–26

Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve has recorded its highest-ever foreign tourist footfall during the 2025–26 season, welcoming 30,474 international visitors till March 31, compared to 17,693 in the previous season.
The park saw a total of 4,68,147 visitors, including 4,37,673 Indian tourists. Officials credited the rise to improved conservation efforts, better visitor experiences, and new attractions like birdwatching and boat safaris.
Authorities said the growing numbers highlight Kaziranga’s rising popularity as a global wildlife tourism destination and a major attraction within the Eastern Himalayan biodiversity hotspot.
