Suvendu Adhikari to Take Oath as West Bengal Chief Minister

Suvendu Adhikari is set to be sworn in as the first BJP Chief Minister of West Bengal on May 9 after the party’s massive victory in the Assembly elections.

The oath-taking ceremony will be held at 11 AM in the presence of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and other senior BJP leaders.

The BJP won 207 out of 294 Assembly seats, ending the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress in the state.
