Debabrata Saikia Raises Concerns Over NRC Assam Website, Helplines

Senior Congress leader Debabrata Saikia has raised concerns over the poor functioning of the official NRC Assam website and helpline services.

In a letter to the Chief Secretary, Saikia said he failed to retrieve his NRC details as the state helpline number received no response, while another toll-free number reportedly connected to a veterinary hospital in Shillong.

Calling the situation “highly unprofessional,” he urged the government to immediately fix the website, restore helpline services and ensure proper support for citizens.
