Four Killed, One Critical in Head-On Bike Collision in Kamrup

Four young men were killed and another critically injured after two motorcycles collided head-on on the Mirza–Palashbari road in Assam’s Kamrup district early Sunday morning.
The accident involved a Yamaha R15 and a Bajaj Pulsar N250. The deceased were identified as Jyoti Kalita, Chandan Jannah, Nikhil Das and Arnab Bornam, who later died at GMCH. Another rider, Dipankar Kalita, remains in critical condition.
Police said the victims were returning from a Bihu programme when the high-speed collision occurred around 1 am. An investigation into the incident is underway.
