Guwahati Police Recover Excavator Machine From Nagaland

Guwahati Police recovered and seized an XCMG excavator machine from Tuli in Nagaland on May 22 during an operation conducted by the Noonmati Police Station team.

According to police, the complainant had rented out the excavator to accused Deep Jyoti Basumatary of Haluating, Sivasagar, for ₹2.2 lakh per month in 2025. The accused allegedly failed to pay dues for five months and refused to return the machine. Police said legal action has been initiated.
