Assam BJP Criticises Congress Over Legislative Party Leader Choice

The Assam BJP criticised the Congress over the selection of its Legislative Party leader, alleging that the party was shifting its political focus in the state. BJP Chief Spokesperson Kishore Upadhyay accused Congress of moving away from indigenous interests.

He also welcomed the Uniform Civil Code-2026 Bill introduced by the BJP-led government under Himanta Biswa Sarma and highlighted key achievements of the Narendra Modi government over the past 12 years.
