Assam Government Extends Services of Retired IAS Officers, Reshuffles ACS Cadre

The Assam government has extended the re-engagement of retired IAS officers Kausar Jamil Hilaly and Bhaskar Pegu while carrying out a fresh administrative reshuffle involving several ACS officers.

As part of the transfers, ADCs of Barpeta and Nalbari have been swapped, while CEOs of the Zilla Parishads in Hojai and Tinsukia have also exchanged postings. The government additionally relieved certain officers of their extra responsibilities to streamline administrative functions.
