NSCN-IM Urges Centre to Act Against Kuki Militant Groups

Imphal: The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) on Thursday urged the Centre to take strong action against Kuki militant groups in Manipur, following the recovery of six mutilated bodies in Kangpokpi district.

Condemning the killings as a “crime against humanity,” the Naga organisation alleged that Kuki militant outfits continue to engage in violent activities and called for swift legal action against those responsible.

The NSCN-IM also criticised security forces, alleging failure to prevent attacks and protect affected communities, while demanding justice for the victims and their families.
