Four Child Labourers Rescued in Kamrup, Two Employers Booked

Kamrup, Assam: Four child labourers, including a 13-year-old, were rescued during a special enforcement drive in Hajo and Kalitakuchi by the Kamrup District Child Labour Task Force, ACRD and Hajo Police. FIRs have been registered against the owners of a motor garage and a welding shop for allegedly employing minors. Officials said the rescued children will be rehabilitated through the Child Welfare Committee, while the crackdown on child labour will continue across the district.
