Mizoram CEO Rejects Claims of Foreign Nationals in Electoral Rolls

Aizawl: Garima Gupta has dismissed allegations that foreign nationals were included in Mizoram’s electoral rolls, stating that the recently completed Special Intensive Revision found no such irregularities or abnormal rise in voter numbers. She said over 46,000 names were removed during the verification exercise to ensure accurate and transparent electoral rolls, rejecting claims of unusual voter growth raised by the Mizo Zirlai Pawl.
