IMD Issues Orange Alert for Heavy Rain in Four Tripura Districts

Agartala: The India Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Warning for West Tripura, Khowai, Dhalai and Gomati districts, forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next three days.

The weather agency warned that persistent rain could cause waterlogging, flooding and disruptions, especially in low-lying and landslide-prone areas. Residents have been advised to remain alert as multiple weather systems are expected to bring widespread rainfall across the state.
