NFR Redevelops Three Railway Stations Under Amrit Bharat Scheme

Guwahati: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has redeveloped Majbat (Assam), Jalpaiguri Road and Haldibari (West Bengal) railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The upgraded stations now feature modern passenger amenities, including improved station buildings, waiting halls, lifts, Divyangjan-friendly facilities and enhanced platform infrastructure. NFR said the redevelopment will improve passenger convenience, boost regional connectivity, tourism and support local economic growth.
