English Translation of All 346 Bhupen Hazarika Songs Released in Kolkata

KOLKATA: A complete English translation of all 346 songs of legendary singer, composer and cultural icon Dr Bhupen Hazarika was released at Assam Bhawan in Kolkata as part of his birth centenary celebrations.

The 656-page volume, compiled and edited by Kamal Kataki and Devajit Bhuyan, has been published by the Asam Sahitya Sabha. The publication is expected to help introduce Bhupen Hazarika’s timeless songs to a wider global audience and carry his cultural legacy beyond language barriers.
