NFR Organises ‘Rail Jan Samvaad’ to Improve Passenger Services

Guwahati: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) organised the ‘Rail Jan Samvaad’ drive across its divisions and stations on Thursday under Special Campaign 6.0 to gather passenger feedback and improve railway services. Officials interacted with commuters to collect suggestions on station amenities, onboard comfort and catering facilities, while ‘Rail Jan Yuva Samvaad’ encouraged young passengers to propose technology-based improvements.

The campaign also focused on passenger safety, with railway staff raising awareness against footboard travel and trespassing on tracks. According to an official press release, the feedback collected will be digitised and reviewed for necessary action.
