Trump Signals Possible Iran Strike, Keeps Deal Option Open

Washington: US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that Washington could strike Iran as early as Sunday, while also indicating that an agreement remained possible. Speaking to reporters in Florida, he questioned whether Tehran would honour a deal.

His remarks followed a renewed threat of military action on Friday. Trump said the US was considering a strike but did not confirm a decision or disclose operational details.
