Hotel Bilas Inn Shooting: Ghanakanta Gogoi’s Family Prepares for Last Rites; Injured Survivor Discharged

Dibrugarh: The family of Ghanakanta Gogoi, the prime accused in the Hotel Bilas Inn shooting case, is preparing to take his body to his native village, Lebangkula Gaon in Naharkatiya, following the post-mortem examination at Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH). His brother said the family was unaware of what had led to the situation, while villagers have begun preparations for the last rites.

Meanwhile, Satyendra Pathak, who sustained injuries in the October 26 shooting at Hotel Bilas Inn in Guwahati’s Bora Service area, was discharged from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Thursday, November 5, after 11 days of treatment.
