A man from Assam was sentenced to life in prison for assaulting a minor girl in Kerala

A Fast Track Court in Kerala’s Perumbavoor sentenced a man from Assam to life in prison for allegedly sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl.

The heinous crime occurred on January 26, 2022, and the perpetrator has been identified as Tunu Mandal.

According to reports, the accused enticed the minor, who was playing outside her house, by promising her candy, and then committed the crime in a shrubbery near a river.
