A massive fire destroys over 15 businesses in Barbari Guwahati

According to reports, a devastating fire wreaked havoc in Guwahati’s Barbari locality on Sunday night, consuming more than 15 business establishments. The fire broke out in the bustling bazaar of Barbari Tiniali, destroying at least 19 shops, primarily those selling fruits and vegetables, according to preliminary estimates.

The Barbari community suspects that the massive inferno was the result of a deliberate arson attack carried out by unidentified perpetrators. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
