A mutilated body was found near railway tracks in the Guwahati Gotanagar area

On Thursday, a mutilated corpse of a man was discovered near the railway tracks in the Gotanagar area of Guwahati, shocking the locals. The victim has been identified as Namal Kumar, a resident of Sundarbari in the Jalukbari area, according to sources. The man is thought to have died as a result of being hit by a fast-moving train.

Locals discovered the body after it had been completely mutilated. Later, railway personnel from Kamakhya station arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and transported it for a postmortem examination.
