A Youth was found dead in a rehab centre in Guwahati

Earlier on Tuesday, a youth was discovered dead at a rehabilitation centre in the Maligaon area. Mitra Taud (25), the deceased, was discovered dead inside the rehabilitation center’s common room. The incident was reported by the ‘Saanvi Wellness Foundation,’ a rehabilitation and de-addiction centre.

According to sources, the now deceased, who was from Assam’s Dhemaji district, had been a patient at the rehab centre for the past five months. The precise cause of his death has yet to be determined. Police arrived on the scene and recovered the body for a post-mortem examination.
