ABSU Demands Release of 66 NDFB Members Ahead of Bodo Peace Accord Day
Ahead of the fifth Bodo Peace Accord Day on January 27, the All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) urged the release of 66 former NDFB members held in custody for 15-16 years, with trials still ongoing. ABSU president Dipen Boro called on the Centre and state government to withdraw pending cases. The event, to be held in Chirang district, will include tributes, peace rallies, and discussions on strengthening the Bodo community, with over 3,000 delegates expected to attend.
